We've been experiencing some bad server-load at projectpier.org for the last few hours likely do to some good press from German sites that think PP is cool. We're working on speeding it up and getting the site working properly again. In the meantime you can just download the zip file of PP from Sourceforge here. It includes some decent documentation and should keep you busy for awhile.
