Disscusions that lead to starting a project?

Hi,

My Name is Tyler. I am looking for a solution for online project management. My search has led me here. I have a few questions about this application however.

The cycle that I would like my customers to go through starts with a discussion and then creating a project that is based on that discussion. At that point we would use all of the tools within the application to manage the project as well as continue the dialog that was created before the actual project was started. From what I have seen discussions are only started when projects have already been created.

In other words.

The user would be prompted to start a "consultation" basically a discussion ( ideally live but with the option of leaving the conversation and picking it up where it left off much like a forum ) Then from that the user would be prompted to start a project.

Other questions and concerns.

Is it possible to use the same login and password for PP with other parts of the site like a blog are a newsletter?
