Be Quick! You have an extension.... (only because of a bug)
You may have noticed that I didn't actually enforce the feature freeze last Friday. This is because we have been working on fixing a security hole, and I wasn't able to spend the time focusing on committing all the new features. So, two important things:
1) Expect a maintenance release in the next day or two to be published. I'll give all the details and security advisory then. If you are subscribed to the mailing lists, you'll get notified immediately when it is available.
2) I have decided to extend the feature freeze deadline to the 18th of Feb - this will give us 2 weeks to refocus on accepting new features into the code base before I close it off and we focus on stabilizing the next version. Anyone with new features they'd like to get into the next version should be submitting any code into the issue tracker - it doesn't have to be perfect but needs to be there to be considered.
Thanks!
