10,000 Downloads!... and counting
We have passed the 10,000 downloads mark for ProjectPier. That includes all the downloads from Sourceforge.net as well as the downloads from this website. This is a good sign that people are enjoying the work we are doing here and if you've been a part of that you should pat yourself on the back. If you haven't gotten involved in the community yet, don't feel bad - its never too late to lend a hand. We can always use help writing documentation, answering support questions in the forums, filing helpful bug reports and of course contributing/testing fixes and code improvements. There are other ways of contributing to the project so just step up with what you feel will help as we move forward to the next release. Congratulations to everyone for this achievement!

It would be nice if you could add a date to your blog posts! And are there any news on the next PP release? Thanks!
For the last month the website MacHeist has been running the second iteration of their Mac software promotion, where "agents" solve "missions" and get a few free apps. At the end of the 4 missions a 10 app bundle goes on sale for about $50.
Why am I writing this? Well, in one of the missions (kind of like elaborate scavenger hunts) the clues lead to a website that was running Project Pier. It was a small part of the overall mission, but a lot of people in the mac community was exposed to PP.
